Avoid Gankers with Peggle
I must admit that while I play on a PvP server, and really wouldn’t have it any other way, I’m not all that good at PvP, or even really all that interested in it. You constantly get fed the notion that fighting other humans is more interesting than NPC’s, but frankly most WoW players are even less original than computer A.I. They all build and develop their characters in exactly the same way, and play them in exactly the same way. So while I do occasionally enjoy mixing it up with other players, namely players close to my level, so both parties have a fair fight, for the most part I avoid PvP, or rather try to.
Of course, most players aren’t so willing to just let you frolic freely on by, and will kill you for no reason whatsoever. For this reason I looked into possible ways I could avoid the more overzealous PK’s, and found a great tool. It’s a Peggle addon, which is free and can be played directly within WoW. Now whenever I have a griefer trying to camp me, I just bust out some Peggle and let him waste his time. It’s severely cut down on my ganking deaths.

The Auction House
The auction house is something I had used sparingly in the past, mostly for buying the odd item, or checking out the rare, high level goods I may one day be fortunate enough to possess, but I had never really used it as a money making tool. Well, recently I was thinking of different ways I could try to make money, ways which ideally would not involve grinding, decided that the auction house had a great deal of potential. Other people were clearly aware of the potential as well, as numerous friends told me I had to check out a program called auctioneer.
The program was slightly daunting at first, but I took the time to figure it out, and pretty soon I was zeroing in on the best deals out there, as well as when to sell my own goods and for how much. Once auctioneer is configured it can virtually run itself, giving you free and easy gold whenever you use it. I was so impressed with this program, and my bank account has improved drastically thanks to it. Auctioneer is free for anyone to download from any of the big WoW addon download websites. On their website they even have a page where you can search your server's auction prices without having to log in to WoW.
There are several auction house/auctioneer guides available for purchase; however, I would not recommend buying one, as the auctioneer website has a large number of tutorials and helpful tips on how to use auctioneer. On top of that, because every server is different, specific auction house strategies are going to be unique to your server. The best way for you to figure out a good auction house strategy is for you to build up some gold (about 500) and practice using it yourself. And that brings us to our next couple of points - how to make enough gold to be effective on the auction house.
Limited Supply Vendor Items
People are lazy, and usually look for the easiest way of doing something. This can certainly be taken advantage of, particularly when it comes to the auction house. There are numerous schematics sold by vendors tucked away in far off corners of the land. Now normally in most games if you tried selling something sold by NPC’s, you’d have little to no chance of it being bought on an auction house, yet alone for any kind of a profit. Yet a friend swore to me that you can buy these schematics and make at least double your money at the auction house.
So I went and purchased the deepdive helmet schematic. It was definitely in an out of the way place, so it’s not surprising people would rather pay extra to buy it at the auction house. I bought it for next to nothing and sold it for over 20 gold. If you love exploring the far corners of the world, hunting down these schematics vendors and putting them up at the auction house is a great way to make some extra gold. You can find vendors selling these things all over the place, and you can find people willing to buy them at jacked up prices on every server

Daily Quests = Lots of Gold
If you’re looking for more easy WoW gold, while breaking free from the usual gold farming fests, this tip should prove more than helpful to you. Many of the recent changes with WotLK have been put in place to help alleviate the need for grinding, and give players different options for making money. The overhauled auction house is just one way. Another is the many daily quests which are available.
The daily quests really are a brilliant MMO model from a developer standpoint. Allowing players the chance to repeat several rewarding quests each day almost ensures that players will log in daily and make the game a part of their routine. I’ve certainly become accustomed to starting virtually every gaming session by polishing off a few of the most rewarding daily quests, with rewards as high as 25g for a single quest, including gold reward and other prizes. If you want the most profitable daily I’ve found, check out the Ata’mal Armaments daily, obtained from Smith Hauthaa on the Quel’Danas. Remember also that you can complete up to 25 daily’s each day.
